For the second year in a row, Josh Pierson, an American from Portland, Oregon, just off the west coast of the United States, is the youngest participant in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2022, he was the youngest overall at just under 16 years and 4 months. In his second participation, the “kid” shares the #23 Oreca car of the British team United Autosports with experienced drivers Ton Blomqvist and Oliver Jarvis. In his debut a year ago, with Alex Lynn replacing Blomqvist at the wheel, Pierson finished tenth overall, sixth in the LMP2 class.
