Josh Pierson took his first career INDY NXT by Firestone pole at the Milwaukee Mile, posting a two-lap average of 153.434 mph in the No. 29 Starchive Andretti car. The run broke the series record of 152.639 set in 2025 by Dennis Hauger, the Andretti Global driver who won that year’s championship and now races in INDYCAR for Dale Coyne Racing.
